Proposed Overtime Rule Impacts

What you need to know about the Department of Labor's proposed FLSA change.

Learn how the proposed rule could impact your company

The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) could be changing how you compensate certain employees, and we want you to be prepared for the implications.

Its proposed rule would amend current requirements that executive, administrative, and professional employees (EAPs) must satisfy to be exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act’s (FLSA) minimum wage and overtime requirements.

If the rule is finalized and implemented, the overtime protections will extend to approximately 3.6 million more workers in the country.

You have until Nov. 7, 2023, to comment on the proposal.

Before then, download our document of what the rule aims to accomplish and what you need to know as a business leader.
